ADB provides a loan of USD 70 million to develop geothermal steam resources in West Sumatra, Indonesia, through production and injection facilities and a single power generation unit. The project will help the government advance towards its renewable energy and climate change mitigation goals, and support private sector investment in the geothermal sector.

Now Supreme Energy is in talks with PLN and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) for the development of the Phase 2 Muara Laboh with a capacity of 65 MW. The development requires an investment of US $ 400 million and will start immediately after the PPA negotiations are completed.
